What I Got From Just $300

The truth is, I used to be 𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 uncomfortable in front of the camera. I would use it as a prop to hide my feelings, my face and my insecurities. But I’ve grown. And it’s all thanks to @monatofficial and the people who trusted me enough to link arms and grow alongside me in my business.⁣

𝗜𝗳 𝗜 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗮 𝗱𝗶𝗺𝗲, 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 $𝟯𝟬𝟬 𝗜 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲.⁣

Because of my business, I am:

• More confident.⁣

• I have a strong community focused on team growth and entrepreneurship.⁣

• I have more gratitude.⁣

• I have become a stronger voice.⁣

• I have found the value in the journey itself, not just the destination.⁣

• I have expanded all of my businesses thanks to the tools I’ve learned.⁣

• I’ve become a leader.⁣

• I have sharpened my skills at saying no, building boundaries, time management and social media marketing.⁣

• I’ve learned rhythm and balance.⁣

• I’ve been mentored by the most successful entrepreneurs of our generation.⁣

• I’ve been able to give back to organizations that matter to me.⁣

• I’ve become a more patient parent, business owner and mentor.⁣

• I’m confident in who I am and what I bring to the table.⁣

• I no longer find myself paralyzed in fear.⁣

• The opinions of others hold no power over me.⁣

• I have been able to show my children work ethic and business strategy in real time.⁣

… And none of that has to come with an income disclosure. 😉 because let’s be honest, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗮𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝙢𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀. ⁣

Courage.⁣
Consistency.⁣
Contentment.⁣

Those are so much more important, don’t you agree?

As well as slow evenings, at home.

Slow evenings are a gift I will never take for granted. Because not too many years ago, my evenings were consumed with photography sessions. Missing dinners, sports games, bedtime tuck-ins and precious time with my children.

Ultimately, the decision I made five years ago to start my business for just three hundred bucks, truly laid the groundwork for the life I live today. After a lot of hard work and truly *prioritizing* my dreams over all the noise that could have stopped me, here we are. And I’m so grateful. ⁣

So I ask you now, where do you want to be five years from now? And, more importantly, are you truly prioritizing your dream? I hope so.
